Fuel filter?

I just had my 07 Apex ER serviced and I noticed that the dealer didn't change the fuel filter or plugs. Now the plugs I'll do myself no big deal but is there a fuel filter or not. the dealer said it is just the screen on the pickup to the fuel pump that is buried in the tank. I have 1500 miles. Any suggestions?

I was told the same thing when i had mine in the shop the other day for a 2500 mile service. They told me you can't change the fuel filter its just part of the pump.

If its like an automotive in tank filter its just a plastic sock that you can clean by blowing off . Best bet in that situation is remove the tank and clean with compressed air. Its not a filter like we are used to with a paper element that will clog over time...
