the fuel gauge on my friends 04 660 grizz quit a while back and finally this week we took it to the dealer so he could look at it,i already did my own troubleshooting with no luck,the dealer told us it was the whole speedo unit,but everything else works except the fuel display,it flashes empty all the time,anyone ever experience this

The fuel guage on my 660 is weird too. It will register 3/4 tank after just 7 km. It was flashing empty after I put in a new piston a couple weeks ago. I forgot to hook the sender wire back up to the tank. Now it is back to being just like it was.

yea! mine will tell you 1/2 then you turn it off and back on then it flash's empty then it will tell you 3/4 next time... i just check the tank all the time i think its a piss poor diz.... the gauge tells me what ever it wants to... i have a love/hate realationship with my quad... we even argue alot......lol
