Just put my sled back together after a total dismantling except for engine,my fuel gauge is reading low fuel and light is on,yes there is fuel in it,,all of the wiring checks out,Could it possibly be the sending unit in tank??tank was shuffled around shop several times maybe something got #$%&* up.anyone else experience this??

You can test the sending unit.

Unplug the sender and measure the resistance between the terminals to the sender.
Most sending units are 240 ohms to 33 ohms.
If you are in or close to this range, the sensor is most likely ok.
If it reads infinite (possibly OL for overload), or zero ohms, it is bad.

If it is good, most likely you have a wiring problem, loose/bad connection etc.

Haven't seen or heard of any ECU failures, so that means a low/no cost fix for you!

Hope this helps! ;)!
