fuel lines

I've heard of blowing into the vent line (the line that runs down behind the secondary clutch inside of frame) will force fuel into the fuel pumps. It could be that the fuel pump needs fuel to create a vacuum to keep it pumping. Right now, the fuel pump can't create a vacuum as it is only sucking air.

There was a similar post about this sort of thing a while back. Perhaps try doing a search and find that post. I think it was explained better.

The fuel pump is not located in the gas tank. There are 2 of them on your sled. Just follow both fuel lines from the tank out and the first things that they hook up to (aside from your shutoff valves) are the fuel pumps.

of course theres no fuel coming out, its just a line hooked to a tank. if you pull the line OFF THE FUEL PUMP why would you expect fuel to come out? both lines that run from the tank to the fuel pumps will have gas in them when the sled is running, as the pumps are drawing it from the tank.
