I've been getting an honest 13 - 14 on my 06 Attak.

I have gotten as much as 18 mpg on the Apex and my RX-1 with a stroked 1100 cc Apex motor on 2 rides this yr did 14.2 with Simmons wide skis with inner & outer wear bars.
I think the consistency of the snow, snow depth, base under the snow, air temp, type of skis, size of carbides, riding style(standing up) your height sitting down, Helmet size, lung capacity, If your coat catches air...............................

the key is do you add oil at $7 with every tank and if you got better mileage by putting a govenor on it would you do it? Press the go button & ride I didn't switch to the big block for the mileage it is just a feature, the benefit is the WOW factor.
I have converted more 2 smokers to 4 cylinger 4 strokes than I can count in the past 5 yrs. None of them even asked so ah hows the mileage? They asked where can I get one and what do I need to make it go like that!
3 of them went with me yesterday all on their new Yamis. we agreed we had to leave by 4:30 I had a heck of a time getting them loaded to go they were like 3 yr olds with new chew toys. Just one more loop then we'll go. Left at 6 so much for schedules.

I hate to tell ya, but 15mpg is about as good as it gets on HARD PACK snow..
10-13 in soft snow, but 13.5-15mpg is the norm..

I have always wondered if any fuel or oil additives would help, especially since they are relatively low-use engines?
Got 18 in maine last season on my 07 apexer.Normal around here 14 to16 cant complain
