Guys I have found on the nytro and apex turbos running an external regulator, tapping in for boost signal is important, taking the signal from the back side of the throttle blades is not a great set-up especially for flatlanders, the signal should come from IC set static pressure to the desired level , then under boost it rises. The nytro will see as much as 14 inches negative vaccum wich on the large red regulators in the Powder Lites kit are very sensitive, therefore if your static pressure is 42lbs under severe deceleration fuel pressure can drop down into the 20lb range thus giving popping stalling and a hesitation, with a very accurate fuel pressure guage I have seen the nytro at idle to operating tempeture see the fuel pressure fluctuating as much as 5lbs due to the vacumm signaland pulsing engine. Connect into the intecooler tap and use a small brass fitting. 42 lbs base fuel pressure with a rising rate of 2-1 with no vaccumm signal cures some minor hickups makes the system very responsive. On the apex same has been found guys running the malpassi on apexes move the line trust me they will become very responsive with better fuel control.

Fuel Regulator

Thanks Kevin for testing on the Nytro at low flatlander riding.
Yes guys Powderlites wants to hear positive feedback to help make our products better each year.
Once again Thanks and yes this kind of stuff takes a lot of time to workout small bugs.
When fuel regulator is not connected to vaccum it becomes easyer to setup for different setups like ported head or stock cam timing etc.

NFS2 is your Nytro running rich enough at WOT? I wonder if setting it up like this may help my lean condition. I have no stalling issues but cant get enough fuel up top.

The nytro is not quite the same as most others I am running the stock pump in the tank to the second pump wich is an msd pump, I know there will be comments on this but it is working great and not running out of fuel yet but I think some machine may, apex injectors are the next move for me to be up into 18lbs of boost, @ pumps in series has worked very well so far. I dont beleive in pulling fuel its easier to push a liquid hence the stock pump in the tank, just up the fuse amperage everything is good

I have the MSD pump only but it seems that the stock injectors are limiting me. Can't get the AFR to acceptable levels at WOT runnignonly 9 lbs of boost. Will the Apex injectors work?

would this be also for the rx1 carb setup? on the malpassi fuel regulator the vaccum goes were ?thanks

When we say connect to Ic tap we mean what in Dummy language??Been awhile since I installed the system.

on benders rx1 carb turbo it was on intercooler ( ic for dummy language I WILL try that on mine thank you kevin for the infos

Good to know i was going to move mine to the T.B. boots glad i did not! It is in the I.C. and will stay thank you!!

9Psi you should be good with stock injectors try moving your red/blue down some. Then reset your other GEm settings. That is if you are running a GEM box. I am running about 9PSI and all good could add lots more fuel if need. At 800 feet, with fuel pump up grade. (11.8 AFR at WOT)

Ulmer Racing also has had the best luck with the boost reference signal to the fuel pressure regulator hooked up to the intercooler. We also run a second pump in line while still using the stock pump in the fuel tank also.
