Need for Speed 2
TY 4 Stroke Junkie
Guys I have found on the nytro and apex turbos running an external regulator, tapping in for boost signal is important, taking the signal from the back side of the throttle blades is not a great set-up especially for flatlanders, the signal should come from IC set static pressure to the desired level , then under boost it rises. The nytro will see as much as 14 inches negative vaccum wich on the large red regulators in the Powder Lites kit are very sensitive, therefore if your static pressure is 42lbs under severe deceleration fuel pressure can drop down into the 20lb range thus giving popping stalling and a hesitation, with a very accurate fuel pressure guage I have seen the nytro at idle to operating tempeture see the fuel pressure fluctuating as much as 5lbs due to the vacumm signaland pulsing engine. Connect into the intecooler tap and use a small brass fitting. 42 lbs base fuel pressure with a rising rate of 2-1 with no vaccumm signal cures some minor hickups makes the system very responsive. On the apex same has been found guys running the malpassi on apexes move the line trust me they will become very responsive with better fuel control.
