Which relay is the fuel pump relay?? My 07 Apex wouldn't start after sitting outside in the cold yesterday. I know theres like 3 or 4 relays above the foot well on the left side of the sled. It cranked and wouldn't start. Then a few minutes later it fired right up. Is there a way to fix this???

On my 06 Attak it is the 3rd one in from the outside. Turn the key on and off while feeling the relays and u will be able to tell which one it is. Fix it by replacing it and carry a spare. This happened to me the other day. Relay would click and sled wouldn't start. When the relay clicked I couldn't hear the fuel pump running so I removed the relay, put it on the truck heater and then it worked fine. Somehow moisture gets in there and then freezes, then the relay doesn't work. I'm going down to buy 2 new ones.

07 GT: Dealer supplied me new relay under warranty, said there is a known problem with the sealant used on OEM relays, would let moisture in and potentially have issues of freezing up in extreme cold. I've heard if you are stuck, just warming them up even with your hands will get them to work.
On my 06 Apex ER, the relay was the one closest to tunnel, however, if you want to make sure, check owners manual wiring diagram for color of the wires going to EFI relay. In my 06 manual wiring diagram was pg 12-2, item #22, Fuel Injection relay, wire bundle color combo red/green, red/white, red/blue, blue/red. 10 minute job. cheers!

Just changed our relays on our '06 Attaks. The relay is updated for the '07/'08's. We never had a problem, but will keep the old one as a spare. Both of ours were 2nd one in from tunnel.

It seems to be in different locations on the same sleds.
If you are looking at it from sitting on the sled, mine was the 2nd one in from the tunnel.
Pull the relay and turn your key on and listen for the fuel pump. If you got the right one you will not hear it run.

On my 07ApexER it's the outside one, outside left when you are facing the front of the sled.

I had 2 relays go out at the same time on 2 different sleds. The relay on the 07 Attak was the relay closest to the tunnel. On the 06 Apex it was the second relay from the tunnel. The fan relay was the relay farthest from the tunnel on both sleds.
-5 degrees on the last morning of my sledding vacation neither sled would start. No fuel pumps. I was up and running in 20 minutes thanks to this site. Swapped them out with the fan and finished up my trip. Now that I'm home I have 4 on order. 2 for replacement and 2 for back up.

Do these relays get water in them and freeze up,or are they shot and need to be replaced.

They get moisture in them and freeze up. Like I said in my earlier post the relay would click but wasn't making contact. There must have been ice between the contacts.

Im sure it's probably they just get pushed onto the holders during assembly, or that the installer on the line gets them goofed up.

Mine was the second one in from the tunnel. I moved mine to the outside, to make it easier to change when it's below 0.
