Try pounding it real hard on something firm to break up the carbon inside, I did that on my attak and it never happened again after I did that.
8FP-81950-01 I think
Someone can varify?

New for 2011 there is a new relay and holder for the relay recommended to be used for this issue. The new relay is part number 8HG-81951-00-00 ($7.76) and the holder is 8HG-81952-00-00 ($2.12). This relay will work on all 06-10 fuel injected models.

Yes I tried this, as it happened again last night and instead of thawing out relay I whacked it a few times against the tunnel. Fuel pump fired up immediately. Thanks for the tip bountyhunter.BOUNTYHUNTER said:Try pounding it real hard on something firm to break up the carbon inside, I did that on my attak and it never happened again after I did that.

It is one of the 3 out of 4 that look the same. They are located in front of your left knee when riding. Mine was the one closest to the fuel tank (#4). But sometimes they are different order.Honk said:Which relay is the the fuel pump? Just wanted to keep this in mind for any future probs. Thanks

Since the fuel pump relay is one of 3 like relays does it makes sense to switch out all three with this new relay and holder ?
