Was reading my manual last nite and see it suggests you trailer with an empty fuel tank to reduce the chance of fuel trickling into the carbs and then into the crankcase. Someone suggested on here you install 2 shutoff valves on the 2 fuel lines. My question is, :4STroke: on the turbo's with a fuel pressure regulator and an electric fuel pump, are shutoffs necessary?

I guess since Lakercr is the only one who knows but is in the expert category, he must be right.

Find out for yourself and disconnect the fuel line after the pump and see if any fuel leaks out if it dosent then simulate trailering by rocking the sled around and see if any drips out onto a rag. I myself fail to see how fuel could leak past the impeller inside the pump tho....

I agree with Lakeracer. ;)!
