Help, please

My 07 Phaser has the D light flashing - I can't get it into fad or reverse, light just flashes and when you give it gas it simply hesitate like Tors is on (short jumps fwd but does not run properly)

Try lifting the back end or rocking the sled back and forth. Make sure the parking brake is not on when you try to shift it too.

Did that - know the drill re:reverse. This problem is scary - like the machine is stuck between fwd and reverse.

Can you move the belt by hand?

Yes, sled will pull fwd a couple inches at a time but then hits about 400rpm and immediately drops to 1000rpm so you can go far (almost like a safety like when TORS is activated).

What type proximity switch tells the ecu its in reverse?That switch is where I would look.Is it adjustable?Magnetic?I dont have reverse on mine so not real familiar with it but thats where I would start.

We just had the exact same problem on my sisters Phazer today. The D light just keep blinking. It's definitely engaged the drive in forward because when I turn the track the secondary turns the correct way.

I guess I'm going to be checking the switch. Is there a connector somewhere that is easy to get to that I can use to test the switch? It looks like getting to the reverse unit is a big job.

my d light flashes often,i just rock the sled back and fourth and it works almost everytime,if it doesnt work,i shut it off and restart it and usually its fine

I tried the rocking and shut it on a off a few time but neither worked.

same as mine usually shut it off only seems to happens though when i get in a hurry and hit the flipper before the blnking stops.
