If off trail riding in deep snow is the primary use, I'd remove the tunnel protectors and install a deeper lug track. I think a 1.5" is good for all around versatility. For those who have installed a 1.75, were you able to keep your stock drivers?
I have a 1.75, using 9t extros. No problem with the tunnelprotectors removed.
