hey guys,
I had a mpi stage 2 supercharger on my nytro, I ran 15 psi at sea level thing ripped, anyways I blew the supercharger up and dicided to build a rear mount turbo. well im done with it but now tunning is my issue as the gems controller is making it run way to rich at idle, (must have supercharger mapping) . can I get a new gems map for it or whats the best fuel controller out there for sled but im not going to spend over 500$ on one ether.

I thought Gem's were adjustable? the power commanders take maps flashed onto the controller. I have a PCV on my sled and it works great. Ive adjusted mine utilizing my AEM wideband.

I have a PCV for my turbo Nytro and to me it is the way to go. Tuning through the laptop allows you lots of flexibility in your tune. I was never a fan of the GEMS but lots of guys like them.

pcv I'll have to look into them, I'm trying to get ahold of physco sleds bridge controller but no luck finding them yet :( . My c30-74 smoked a bearing 1000 miles on it and seized up, the sled idles great in garage then u plug gems in and it starts running rich and fowls the plugs, no snow in ct to ride yet, I have a trip planned to vt feb 4, so I need her to be done!

The other option is Boost-It. It uses the stock injectors and secondary injectors mounted in the Intercooler with there own controller. Suppose to be an amazing system. I am looking into installing this in the springtime in my sled.

why have a secondary injector? to make up for the lack of fuel over the stock map or just the stock injectors?

Apparently it is very easy to tune and the sleds that have them run really smooth, the only time you will need to tune these injectors is when you are in boost. When out of boost, at idle, cold and hot start you are on the stock Yamaha mapping that the sled came with so you shouldn't have any issues. My sled with the bigger injectors and a PCV idles rough when hot and cold. There is no temperature compensation

yeah I see what you mean about the larger injectors. there is also no latency adjustment in the ecu I know of which helps a ton with idle. As far as my experience from tuning turbo Subaru's at least. So basically when the air flow velocity increases a ton the fuel spraying in the intercooler doesn't get a chance to make contact with surfaces but rather atomizes in the high flowing air charge. seems realistic!

Yeah I called for a price on the boost it kit....1600$ about a grand out of my range. So I called mpi today and told him my issue, he confirmed my thoughts on gems being set up for boost from supercharger, different mapping. he also recommending (becuase I have costom turbo) to call ulmer and look at pc5 , called ulmer today and waiting on a call back! Now should I go with a pc5 anyone run auto tune? we dont have any elevation here but weather changes a lot. Honestly i'm not sure what ill be making for boost. 10 psi bov spring in and 8~ psi waste gate

I have a PC5 and just installed autotune but don't have any feedback on it yet. I have an extra PC5 and a 3 bar map sensor if you have trouble finding one. They are off of a sled that I sold. I am currently running 8psi but waiting for more snow to start to test. I know my kit (powderlites) claims 270hp. Either way from the little u have driven mine it pulls harder than the blower did at 13psi

does the pc5 fit a 08? every where I look I see 09-13......
