Folks, we are asking for some FX Nytro feedback from those that have had the chance to get some miles on. If you own an FX Nytro and are willing to give a few minutes of your time, simply click on the link for the survey.

I would ask you to word your answers carefully and be considerate. I don't want to have to 'moderate' any comments because of harsh language or inappropriate content. Rest assured, all good info will be collected and heard by the right people.

If you don't own an FX Nytro model, please don't click the link, it'll just skew the data... Thanks in advance.

Cheers

Chris,

Can you add a section at the end for comments regarding questions asked in the survey?

Some things not covered...

non-pivot riser on MTX???

snow ingestion

Thanks guys, I know there are quite a few things not covered. I need to see how this works out and is received, there is more here than meets the eye.
If all goes well we can consider additional opportunities.

Communication is a good thing!

Communication is a damn good thing!!!!

Chris,
I agree, I had a hard time with the last question.
The sled didn't come in nearly the state of tune (suspension wise) for my riding style as it is now! Seems to take a bit longer to 'dail it in' than past sleds. Once there though...OH MY! :)

Finally; Yamaha PLEASE give the spring order guys options, Instead of having to add it all on once the sled shows up!!!

Thanks, Jeff

Ya', like Ohlins!! :bling :jump:

done, This is the sled that yami needed to build. The suspension is great and very adjustable, I couldn't be happier.

CR,

Apparently you guys spend more time on here than I thought. You knew exacty what most of us have been concerned with. ie - handling, handwarmers, wet boots, etc.

Thanks for opening up the lines of communication even further. Love the blog and I'm glad you did this survey.

I have owned 3 new yamaha's since 2001 and some of these problems have been on going for years. (1) sliders wear out pre-maturely. cure is simple, use slightly larger wheels all around, while your at it use wheels with removable bearings (2) hand warmers not near hot enough again(same problem on my apex. (3) wet feet on nytro only, mostly left foot but right foot has gotten wet once or twice aswell.(4) Of all the sleds I've had ,all makes & models the nytro is the most ill handling sled (out of the box) I've ever owned . The set up should be closer when it comes from the factory, the changes I've had to make just to make it feel comfertable for riding it was way too much IMO. however now that ive loged on over 1000 miles I've finally got it figured out & it seem's to handle quite well now. M2C oh ya at least give us an option on the larger tank. BTW I didnt rite this to bitch about it, I just wanted to give an honest opinion. Parkindale
