I purchased a FX nitro and I am having a difficult time getting this thing to handle. it pushes in the corners, then the next corner it almost flips me off the sled. I have played with the front shocks, adjusted the front skid shock softer and moved the limiter strap to the third hole from the top. (is the correct spot or should I be going further down in the holes?)The rear springs are on the heaviest setting. At times the rear suspension rides like a pogo stick and then sometimes bottoms out. The sled darts very bad and seems like it wants to pitch me off while going straight. I love the power but the handling has me confused. I am 6.0 with 240lbs .
Any advice to to help me with the set up would be greatly appreciated. I have read some posts, but it seems like everyone has the rtx, which is a little different than the fx. Thanks for any advice!

I guess what I am asking, is if you count the holes are you counting from the top of the strap or the bottom of the strap. I think there is 6 holes to choose from. I have mine 3 holes from the top.

The one thing I found is that mine rode like a pogo stick until I slowed the rebound way down. I set both of my skid shocks to 10 on rebound.

Also, what is your shock pressure at?

You may want to look into the couple blocks people are trying. Yamaha cheaped out on the rear shcoks for the standard Nytro, so we don't have the range of adjustments the RTX has.
