Man, that 276c sure is a sweet GPS, I want one. Is it true that it requires a special memory card? I'd take that over my 76cx, anyone want to trade?

Same MA, Boosebuck it does!
It does have a memory card for downloading trail maps, and saving tracks.

how did your download go I have same set up sled and gps. my problem is that when I download trail maps from gpssledmaps.com the trail maps don't show up unless I pan out to 12 miles and then it displays trail map and no roads. If I go in past 12 miles it shows all roads and no trail map. Now here's the catcher the whole thing will work perfect if I just download normal trail map not a colored version but then the problem is it comes up on the gps as having trails and roads the same color kinda confusing, thats why I was the different color. I know this is a long post and sorry to jack your thread but since you have the same setup was curious if yoiu could help or had the same problem

Mike, what specific mount did you use for the 276c? I want to mount mine to my Apex and I assume our bars are close to the same type.

Sorry to get back to you so late...I made a custom mount for the 276c, using the slip on portion of the supplied mount only. I cut one side off of a 3inch alum square tube (making it "c" shaped), mounted this to the center of the handlebars (fit perfectly), and mounted the top portion of the supplied 276c bracket to this.

Try looking into a RAM mount for an Apex. Works great and the unit will be really secure on there.
I have used http://www.cyclegadgets.com/Products/RA ... RAM-GPS176 for the 276 and it has worked out quite well.
