Any other Viper people have a gas gauge that acts the complete and utter fool? You can fill the tank completely to the neck and the idiot light will be on for 20 miles while the gauge reads empty. OR you can ride 90 miles and it'll read completely full.........I WISH........sometimes the gauge just decides it's going to have the last word and displays whatever it damn well feels like. Any others?
Yes is not linear. Very sensitive to angle. Once it gets into the seat part of tank often see empty or near if on a hill. Half a tank is often left once off hill. Light going on would bother me maybe bend the float up a bit Buddah?

I appreciate the thought but this thing is really acting the fool, and angles got nothing to do with it...........I filled up at the store at the end of my drive.......completely up in the neck.........gauge read ZERO when I restarted and, of course, the frippen' idiot light was on........and proceeded to stay on through 34 miles of riding and 2 separate stops........finally decided to show me I had maybe a 1/4 tank after almost 40 miles........but at least it turned the idiot light off........small victories I guess...........
Mine is the same way but if you really want a laugh check out the gauge on 2015 Polaris Pro. after 1/2 tank it flashes warning low fuel for 70 miles or so. Thank goodness my gauge went completly out last weekend, just a dark screen. New one going in it now and on Craigslist for sale sticking with the Viper and the old 2013 Pro R 800
Yesterday was a post where it was found that a gentlemans sending unit was not in tank correctly. It was indexed wrong.

I read that (difficult as it may be) but my issue is almost exactly the opposite.........it reads empty even after just filled up........I don't care all that much cause I always reset trip odometer so actually running out shouldn't be an issue........I will mention it to my dealer when I finally take it in (80 mi. each way)........
