Gas Mileage On Your Grizzly....

Just wondering how far guys can get on a tank of gas..I rea;ize it depends on the kind of driving you are doing but just curious.I seem to get roughly 85 miles per tank on my 04 grizzly....Diceman

Not sure on the mileage, it feels like I can drive all day on a tank.

If youve been around a Grizz for awhile then you know the bottom half of the tank is alot bigger than the top half, What I mean is this, The fuel guage will show 1/2 tank and you have used very little fuel. The reason for this is sometimes you just dont pay attention to things like that so they give us a little cushion. I can usually get around 75 to 85 miles to a tank without using reserve. i havent ran it out yet to actually find out how far it will go. but I'm sure it will happen someday when I least expect it.

I realize that this is an older topic but I have been checking on my mileage while riding in the desert. If I am in the rough washes a lot with lots of boulders and slow going I have been getting around 18mpg. If the terrain is fairly open an I can run 20mph and above I have been getting a solid 20mpg. That is with 27in dirt devil XT tires. My riding partner has a 500 Sportsman and he always uses around .2 gal less than me on a 40 to 50 mile ride.
