I'm looking for ideas on where to mount an AF and boost gauge on the Nytro pod. I currently have a a gauge plate from Hurricane Performance but I am not happy how the hood needs to fit around it. It would have been much better if the two gauges were mounted more towards the center. if I knew how to weld, I would cut the circles off and move it more towards the middle. This way the hood wouldn't need to be pulled apart to install it.

What do you mean about pulling the hood apart to install it? Seems to fit fine for both of us.
Me and my brother both just bought one of these, seems to be the best option. You could mount them on the handlebars I guess, but i liked the look of the hurricane plate better.

I think what he is trying to say is that he needs to spread the hood apart.

I still don't know what that means. You take your hood off like normal. Take off your gauge. Install the plate And then put it all back together.

I think it depends on what windshield you have. Mine bends in a bit near the gauge and it rubbed a bit. On my buddies sled his windshield bubbles out (medium windshield I think) and it clears just fine.

I used the same mount and used a dremel grinder to grind some off the outside of the mount where the gauges go. Mine would scratch the inside of my windshield before I ground it down.
