Gauge problem

hello everyone, my problem is with my 07 phazer gauges. After riding all day with no issues I got home and was unloading and putting sled back in the garage and the guages quit working. They light up but have no read out. The reverse button still works but they don't light up. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Same happened to my son's 09. Water got in and shorted it out, killing the display. Take it off, take it apart and dry it out. If it still doesn't work, it's toast.

Thanks for the reply, the next day I went out to check it and they worked again. Must be what u said and got some moisture in there. I rode it yesterday about 20 miles too and no issues. Hopefully they are all good.
