I just wanted to express my frustrations about the lack of snow in the Gaylord area! Trail 7 Is mostly dirt, and most other trails have muddy spots, and bare corners....

But the golf courses are still extremely rideable! And Fun!!!!

You're not alone, buddy...

We got 6 inches of snow last Wednesday and it's pretty much all gone now. Many bare spots, slushy snow, and dirt on my way home yesterday afternoon. I dont remember a year where I had to hop around from snow patch to snow patch while riding. I live between Rochester and Syracuse, NY.

Last week I spent a couple of days in Old Forge/Tug Hill. The Hill has good snow, but less than normal and the valley between those two locations was the barest I have ever seen. Literally 2 inches of snow on the ground and a 1/2" base.

last time i groomed was 3 weeks ago and it was for nothing within a day most of what we had was gone. in the open there was nothing in the woods we had a little. must go north see you there jake.

For us Mainers I don't think we can go far enough North at this point. The county is hurting just like everyone else. Forks, Jackman, Millinocket, Island Falls, Shin Pond, Greenville, all spring like or worse conditions right now.

Speaking of Maine. Last weekend I found the best snow between Shin Pond and Ashland. From Ashland to Presque Isle wasn't very good. The best was between Oxbow and Shin Pond but I'm sure that has all changed now.

Hey Powderpimp, I see you've got Soldotna on your location. Why not just ride in Turnagain? You know how deep it is there.
You snowbirding or what? :tg:

How's Quebec this year? I haven't been up to Mont-Laurier or St-Zenon or St Michel des Saints in years.

Maine without snow and Maryland buried in it...how woulda thunk it...? For us to have inconsistent riding conditions in upstate NY is nothing out of the ordinary, but, at least in my mind, Maine (at least the northern half of the state) is just one of those places "guaranteed" to have snow...

No kiddin...try livin here. We are over 50" below seasonal average. And it ain't looking any better as we go. Found myself in the polebarn the other day looking at the boat....just shakin my head.

I live in the Lansing Michigan area and weve been literally goint SOUTH for good snow. We were heading to Indiana from the Yankee Springs trail system last Saturday but the Phazer broke. Snow in this area after yesterdays snow is KICK #*$&@! in the fields and ditches but yah this winter has been iffy.

Yup... bad year. Had to get on an airplane to find snow this year. Just got back from Revy and even they are having a down winter... still lots of snow in the mnts, but around town it's actually worse than here in Cadillac. They normally have about 10ft in town this time of year according to the guide and this year there's nothing.... F*#ck el-nino.... :o| Guess I'll be going to the Keeweenaw for the last ride of the year...
