gear case swap

hey guys anyone know if a gear case of a vk 540 will fit a vk pro i have a 2006 with no low gear i realize the gearing would be different i have complete gearcase off a 1996 vk 540

no it does not fit. there is a list of parts to turn the 06 pro into an 07 + pro chaincase in this section that someone else did with all the part # in the thread.
