Was wondering if the folks that went to a freeride track dropped there top gear down to a 17 tooth. I have a freeride track on the way and figured i would see what the best way to go is.

I stayed stock as well but I think that you could easily go up one tooth and still hual @$$ !!!

Stock is 18 top gear, right ??? Just having a blonde moment here this morning !!!
yes stock is 18t....i went to 17tooth but i went to a 1.75in paddle.....

Stock gearing and stock clutching seem to be pretty good so far with the free ride but I still need to do a bit of tweaking

Stock on mine with freeride also
moto man what are you getting for top end with the free ride?

Well I put the Ulmer clutch kit in it also and I'm getting 85 mph on the "dream o meter". I did the mods at the same time. Before mod, stock track and stock clutch I was getting 83 mph. That's with 96 studs in both tracks the stock and the freeride both.
