Can you gear down the GT even with the Reverse in it. I want to drop one tooth off the top.

I have not been into the 2006 but have geared my old warrior so it should not be much of a change.With the reverse kit I have geared up one tooth and geared down two. There is not much room and it takes a little finiking to get the gears and chain on at once. With the new engine torque you may not see much benifit. Be prepaired for speed and MPG loss I will probably gear up one tooth after about 1000 miles when I cange the chain case lub. I run with Mach Z,s so I like the added top end and I found inproved MPG.

Does anyone think the apex can pull a taller gear without hurting acceleration too much. Lots of lakes around here!!!!! Thinking of going to a 25 top gear.
