As you can see in my sig I have some mods and I have done some clutching... 14.5 mm rollers 47 degree helix. I can kill my fathers nytro and MOST of my buddies, but not all of them. should I be doing some gearing? What have others done and what top end gains can I get without sacrificing low end torque.
I tried 22/38 gearing this year...it seems to have been a bust...I'm going back to stock gering and last years clutching as it was more fun. Short track Nytro are very tempermental when it comes to gearing changes...I learned the hard way...make'em fast in teh 1/4 mile cause that's where they work best.
I didn't notice any huge low end losses, but I had better mid range with the stock 21/39 gears.
