Is there a way to install a map without the engine running?
I must have inadvertantly altered a setting(s) while I was tuning last night with my wide band, and the motor now will not idle without a lot of throttle adjusting. So it is almost impossible to man the throttle while trying to input mode settings.

I wasn't able to find one, I just fired it up and made the changes as fast as I could.

no, the box doesnt get power unless the sled is on... get a helper.. makes it a lot easier. and i honestly dont think the box setting should adjust the idle ability... i would check other things first. most of the dobeck(gems, attitude, etc) boxes dont adjust fuel at idle.

Thanks for the replies guys.
What I had to do was to wait for a completely cool engine so that it would fast idle long enough for me to get thru all the modes. I found that the GEMS is a little finiicky and sometines it will blow past a mode or two, and then you can accidently change the wrong range. With a little extra cae, I was able to get her dialed back in. It now purrs like a kitten.

good deal... and yeah, the mode button on those is really easy to double tap and end up adjust the wrong stuff.
