I went with the pcv this year. Glad I did, it runs so much more consistent. The only thing that I don't like is the fact of tuning with the laptop, instead of being able to punch some buttons like the gems. Nobody is running a setup like mine so I had to build my own map with help from Ulmer. He should have a set up for your stage 1. I had to add 3 grams per arm after I got my fueling right, and it's a lot more responsive.

PCV. You will wish you did it sooner. The laptop is a bit of a pain but being able to tune the complete map helps it run so much better.

PCV on its way from Ulmer. NeverEnuf what's is unique about the setup you are running?

I'm running a stage 2 @ sea level, with 430 injectors and a boost limiter valve to be able to bleed the boost off to 12-13 psi. I'm able to spin the 30-74 in it's efficiency without having the high boost psi. With doing this I make more boost on bottom and mid and I didn't know of anyone with this set up running a pcv. Ulmer gave me a safe place to start and I adjusted from there. I know it's not the most efficient way to do it. But I was out last night riding it on the aggressive side and got over 11 mpg. And I'm on the safe side with my fuel setup.

You will be happy with it, and Ulmer is great to work with.

Never enuf, would you mind sharing what you are using for a boost bleed off valve? I run a stage2 on my apex and would like to not change pulleys between trail riding and racing. Seems like a good idea to me.

I had the same setup at sea level running the same boost as you. The only difference is that I had the correct pulleys o get my boost levels where I wanted them. It was a beast until the blower decided to break... The bearings went in it. I am not a fan of bleeding boost with a supercharger but to each his own. To me you are just wasting potential power.

What pulleys are you currently running?

I used the valve from 928 motorsports. If you decide to get one make sure you check with them and get the original bleeder valve, not the mega bleeder valve it's way to big.

31b 25t. I started with 31-23 but I couldn't bleed off enough boost. I'm sure it's not the most efficient but it's fun and you always know what boost you'll be running so any clutch changes you make don't effect the boost. Plus bottom and midrange is stronger, I had to add 9 grams total to my clutching. I didn't have to take any off the tip and it still spins the same rpm so to me the advantage outweigh the disadvantage.
Sorry to hear about your supercharger that sucks. Happened to me earlier this season, that's why I upgraded to the 30-74.

Thanks, I'm going to give 928 a shout.

PCV 100%! Got my PCV-PTI from ulmer with his mapping. Works great! Had to make a few changes and he helped a lot! I have heard with the new power commander that hasn't come out yet, you'll be able to tune right from your smart phone! No more lap top!
