Getting Ready to pull trigger on new 2014 phazer XTX...please advise

OK...so yesterday got the 2500 springs installed and the lake effect 2.5 inch riser. In looking at the sled, I am wondering if anyone has put a grill of some kind over the radiator....it looks kinda exposed.

You're right, the radiator is rather exposed, and many people have fabricated some sort of screen to protect it. Apparently someone at Yamaha realized this minor weakness as well, as they do offer a protective screen kit as a factory accessory. I know Yamaha isn't the only one to offer it though, and judging by the pictures it probably wouldn't be too difficult to make one.

Congratts!!! Just bought a 14 myself XTX. Only have 46Kms on it as snow isn't the greatest yet!!

Picked up a 2012 RTX last april too. Also my first 4 stoke sled. Tapeworm, what did you pay for yours after rebates? Dealer hacked $2100 off sticker so I walked out at $6800 with the 4 year Y.E.S warranty. Im from northeast Pennsylvania, no snow here yet. 0 miles on my Phazer still. Someone send some snow our way please!

I've installed two of the Yamaha ones (two different sled) and they work well.
