I had a phazer before the nytro nad I loved it. Stock vs. stock the nytro gained me nothing over the phazer in the twisty under 50mph trails.

My son is about the same age and when he gets on my Nytro he doesn't have a single problem and can handle it great. He also has rode dirt bikes. With the rider foward position will make it more comfortable like your on a 4 wheeler and with a handlebar riser on it makes it easier to handle as well. I don't think he would have a problem with the Nytro
