Was out at a place called silver lake in New Hampshire the other day with a couple of friends. It was a nice day the lake looked smooth and inviteing for a high speed run. My buddy was the first out there on his indy widetrack while we waited for him i noticed a guy on a 07 1000sdi angry bumble bee waiting for someone to race him. I didnt want to be the one to let him down so i went up to him and shot the breeze for a minute and asked if he had ever run the fourstroke yamaha sled yet. He said no but had heard that they were on the heavy side. He took pity on me and lined the bumble bee up and off we went, when i got to the other side of the lake about 3/4 of a mile later he was about 150 yds behind me. We tried 4 more times and ended up with the same results every time after we were done fooling around we went back to the shore and talked about how heavy the 4 strokes are. I have 144picks we were on about 6 or 7 inchs of fresh snow temp was +30f my dm showed 114 at 10400 rpms im 235 lbs on the sled. He had the long track with no studs Im pretty sure they call it the mxz renagade. I dont think the picks were doing much due to the fresh snow but you never know.

For some reason a lot of the renegade 1000's are dogs that puke oil out the exhaust. Dont think ski doo ever really figured out that 100sdi motor, RIP.
