so I am think of going to an apex seat on my warrior... will I need to have a riser on my handlebars after? just wondering if I can do the seat and be done or if it will bring on more mods. thanks
Imo yes you will need a risor . I put a apex seat on my rx1 and said no freaking way can I ride this . The seat rises you about 4 inches . I made a call to superman (lake effect )site sponsor I had a lot of questions and he answered them all after about 45 minutes of talking to him I ordered 3inch pivot adapitor 5 inch risor with shipping it was 155$ new longer throttle and choke cable ( choke was alittle tight for me) $50 for cables at dealier now its a new sled . Yes more mods but well worth it . Hope this helps

X2!!!!
I put a 2" riser on with stock seat and it was ok. I am thinking of doing an apex seat, if I do I would be putting in a 4 or 5 inch riser for sure.
thanks guys... I dont know if I want to sink that kind of cash as I would be into it for like 400 bucks with the seat I bet.... just thinking it through.

Check the classified you can a seat for less then that, I did! I used a 2 inch Rox riser and tilted it forward a bit. Stock cables but I rerouted the throttle a bit.

check out snow west forum. a lot of those guys are taking the stock Apex seat off and putting on lighter aftermarket stuff. a 2" riser block or a 3.5" rox pivot will work but for a liitle extra cash, you will Really like Supermans risers, they are top of the line and totally customizable!

X 2 on Supermans Risers, I have them on both my sleds, and you can mount your gps right to them.

You can find apex seats for 200 and under. I just saw a poor shape one for like 125

X2 on Snow West. I bought my Apex Mountain seat off of there for $50. It was not perfect, but you really have to look close at it to see the imperfections. G.B.

I should put a riser on my sled as well. I find it not to bad but I am sitting all the time because I am too tall to stand up on my sled with the stock bars right now.
