so picked up an apex seat... how are you guys measuring the cut line in the tank shroud? just eyeballing with seat in place?

remember to slip on windshield edging for a nice finish to the cut and it will look factory.
yup... saw that on another post. I am hoping my tank bag set up still fits with the apex seat on there and that will cover it too.
so I started to do this swap and realized the electrical connectors on the apex seat are round style and my warrior set up is square.. I thought this would be plug and play... what is the best solution?

If your running stock tail lights you have to cut and splice the worrior connectors on the apex seat hopefully you got the apex harness because its a bit%% to pull wire through the seat . It's possible but not fun . Make sure you use weather proof connectors . Keep use up to date how its going . Oops missed last part yes color to color
thanks for the help... apex seat has connectors hanging out of front and bac, but like I said the wont match up to sled and rx taillight...so if I understood you correctly if I want to use the old tailight I just cut off and splice them color to color? thanks
so its all done... looks mint but I was wondering if most are cutting the tank so it meets the seat or are some sliding the seat just a bit under? what has worked best? I cut it at 3.5 inches. thanks again

3.5 worked for me, Perfect! 1 of the Best improvements for this sled. 2nd was better valving in the skid.
