Hello all,

I'm in the market for a new track to replace the horrible "finger" track that is on my stock 03 RX-1. One season and 2,700 miles is enough.

Any links to online dealers or resellers with good pricing? I am ultimately looking for a ripsaw or something close to it for loose groomed trails 1.5" max, no powder riding. I also do not want studs.

Did I read somewhere that Yamaha replaced some of these tracks under warranty or something like that?

Let's not turn this into a "ripsaw tracks are junk" thread, I have ridden a RX-1 with a ripsaw and what a difference it makes. I want that or something very similar.

Thanks,

Several vendors that support the site sell tracks. I have had good luck with RichieRich. Check the vendor section at the bottom of the home page. I know he is running a sale right now. Also, CB Performance has a preferred vendor area as well. ;)!

Try Rich at Richmotorsports. He quoted me an awsome quote. Now Im just trying to get ahold of him

ritchiritch is having a sale on tracks right now. check his link in the vendors section.

Not to discredit anyone else but Rich has some awsome deals. So far no one else could touch his prices

I am leaning towards the Camoplast Ice Ripper track. I am curious what it looks like after 2,000 miles when the rubber wears down and the studs are showing through more. It sounds like the perfect track for me, I hate studs but find myself on an icy hill every time I head up north.

Thanks for all the heads up, I can't wait to order one. ;)!

hey red, there is a guy on here named onlyblue(todd) he has been running the ice ripper and speaks very highly of it! i know he has it on his sled and his wifes. i would contact him and get his opinion on the wear of that track!

I think snowtech said it best and that if your happily running around on a ripsaw the ice ripper is going to make you smile even more. Just for that occasional icey hill.
