I find with my heat gun moving it fast on high heat the socket comes with the glue and all, usually one piece..one shot...
For those times when it's a problem...I use goo gone ...but have heard the wd40 thing works well..I've always been worried about the petroleum in it on plastics?

anticipation can be a real b*tch ...but in the end...it seems like she was worth the wait...
Im seeing enough Yamaha influence to initially satisfy my discriminating eye...
mods planned (initially):
4 wheel oversized rear axle kit
mid blacked windshield of some sort (with blue and with yam tuning fork sticker)
slp mohawk skis with triple points
powermadd sentinel handguards (black, thanks guys) with led light inserts,
led's tied into accessory circuit so when key cycled on they come on with front and rear leds!
heated riser bag with heated shield port.
stainless steel exhaust
racewerx transfer block
powder coated or rubber dipped racewerx seat screw
special traction product (secret) with heat exchanger protectors
air intake
black skid plate

If your over 6 feet tall , don't you need an extended riser , to accomodate stand up riding ?BLASPHEMY yes...but its a skidoo bag...I used it on the cat last year also...it housed my map selector and heated shield cord...
I always added atleast 2-3 inches on my Apex , with out having to make wiring adjustments .
What is the best riser for the SW LTX LE set up ?

Id say yes...if you need a riser...or like adjustability...I believe id look at the skidoo adjustable setup and see if I could retr fit it!
but Im vertically challenged....at 5'9", mine fits me just fine... ; )

Me personally at 5' 6" The stock riser is perfect for stand up riding . If I'm going on a long cruise trip I will lay the bars back a little bit.
