GPS advise

There are lots of them out there, and most of them are really good.

The real point is what are you going to use them for?

When I'm guiding in the Spring & Fall, we are always under a Heavey Canopy of Big Spruce. My Magellan still is the only one that gets picked up right away, as other give False reading or just can't find us.

I believe that it's all in the antenna's being used, and my Magellan's #1 in my book. I've had a few clients that had those other brands & now own a Magellan.

we have a garmin GPSIII we realy like it, I was thinking of gettting one of those mounts and a 12v hookup so I don't have to add battaries, I saw a friend do that, works awsome.
 
Garmin - GPS-Map276C

Anyone try the Garmin Mapp276C. Big screen, waterproof, seems like a good mount and has cig lighter adaptor for the Apex.

What about trail maps for Ontario. where can you find them - the OFSC maps are out of date.
