Now that I'm a proud owner of a RS, I need to start planning my GPS setup.
After seeing Hondo's pic (seen below) of his dash, there dosn't look to be much room for GPS.
I have a 176c and it's pretty big
Any Ideas or pics of what you have?

Your welcome SRX, Make sure you use a backer plate of some sort underneath (back side) of mounting location. This should prevent stress cracks at screw locations. just my .02

Maybe this will help. I put a Garmin 276C on my 2006 RS Venture this year and have attached some pictures. I used the standard marine mount which has three adjustments and used three stainless machine screws with backup washers. I mounted it through the dash just to the left of the instrument cluster. Be patient; there are a lot of screws holding everything together. I wired it to the instrument and headlight harness hot - red/blue, instruments and ground - black, headlight. It gets power and you still have a good view of the tach. It also is protected by the windshield.

Here is another option. On my Attak, but should work on RS.

Almost done

I ended up using a little ingenuity and my old mount.
A Simpson strong tie I had laying around, few bends and some black paint
Just need to put a few more bolts in the ends of the support and wire it.
Thanks again for your help
