damn i like that, can you change the screen orientation on the gps so its not sideways? also whats in the 3rd pic? looks like LED lightingThis is how I did my Attak. I took a piece of aluminum and shaped it then mounted it to the riser. It slips in between the bars and the riser and one self taper secures it.
Yes. The Montana can change screen orientation. I chose landscape so it take up less room on the bars.
The LED lite is for my map on the tank bag and for fueling at night.

I just installed my Garmin 1300 right above the gauges on my 2014 Vector LTX. Really looks sweet. Go to www.trailsystems.com and get the bracket that mounts in the back of the gauges. There is a video that shows you how. Then you can get the rest (Ram mounts) from www.gpscity.com. I like it mounted here best because you don't have to look down so far to see it.

I was just at Radio World here in Toronto and they told me we should not leave our Garmin 650 out in -15c as the LED screen will slow down and freeze. I wanted to mount it with the hard wiring so it was always charged but now I'm not sure I want it out in the cold all day. Any Thoughts?

I use an old nuvi and leave it out have been for 3 years and still works great. But I used an old one on purpose in case it does break.
I use the Amp Rugged Mount https://buy.garmin.com/en-US/US/sho...d-mount-with-audio-power-cable/prod89575.htmlI was just at Radio World here in Toronto and they told me we should not leave our Garmin 650 out in -15c as the LED screen will slow down and freeze. I take the my Montana in with me on long stops otherwise its on the sled all day at lower than -15c and has not been a problem.
