I've seen some complaints about the grips not getting hot for folks like our old sleds. Is there a Yamaha fix for this yet? Would this be fixed under warrenty? Is there a kit or simple solution for this? I was riding my old V-max 700 and the grips got so hot that I couldn't hold on. I switched to my '08 Phazer GT and I didn't think they were even working. I took my glove off and well the grip wasn't cold, but it was barely warm. Very sad if they call that heated grips!

good idea. thanks for the link. I put my name on the list. Already 12 pages of names, humm me thinks more than one or two Yamaha riders are complaining of cold hands.

My hand warmers are really good, if I have them onhigh they burn my hands. By the way I have a Phazer if that's any difference.
