i have the same problem with my 08 gt. went in to the dealer and they looked at me like i had 10 heads when i told them it`s becoming a problem with alot of sleds. i will be going back to get the kit for the fix but i dont think i`ll be paying for it.

I got my harness the other day and it works great! Only cost me like $29 to have it shipped to my door. They offered to do it for free, but I would spend that much in gas to get there and back. What a difference. The harness will work with all bars with the J hooks from '06 on.

Same problem with my '08 APEX LTX, you would think that our dealers would get updated on such a important part of comfort on our sleds...I've been complaning to my dealer since 3 weeks and keeps telling me that YAMAHA have no issues...

He still hasn't gotten any BULLETIN about any UP-GRADE, anyhow hopefully this will work

I believe Yamaha uses the same harness for all the new sleds. If you have the hooked bars it should work. I have Apex bars on my Phazer and it worked.

Well guys I installed my WIRING HARNESS KIT friday night and rode over the weekend 500kms and YES it does make a difference, I'd say 75% more HEAT genarated, I can now feel the heat threw my gloves!!!

my mtn lt ha sgreat hand warmers. The'll get too hot on high. On a 20 degree day I have them at the 3rd bar and my gloves are nothong special

I just picked up my 08 Phazer Mtn on Friday, and warmers don't work worth sh#@. I had to swap sleds with my wife as her hands were freezing, she rode my Nytro MTX which get real hot! I will have to call the dealer I guess, I also had to reverse the ski rubbers too (like I did on my Nytro) as they were backwards - sled was real hard to steer!
