Does anyone have detailed instructions with pics on inspecting and cleaning ground blocks? Thanks in advance!

Most of the time the best option is to eliminate them entirely.Does anyone have detailed instructions with pics on inspecting and cleaning ground blocks? Thanks in advance!
Also, it isn't just the ground blocks. Check all the connector blocks, no matter the wire colors.

Thank you for the reply. I've got to be honest. To this point, I've enjoyed fixing up this new to me Vector - donuts, bearings, skid rail, headlight mount, heated grips, etc... but digging into these wrapped wire bundles seems very daunting! It ran great for about a mile when it seemed like I lost a cylinder, and the gas gauge intermittently would go from full to empty and back a few times. I thought a good place to start would be the grounds. I've got an 06 Attak that has some intermittent issues as well. Most of the time the best option is to eliminate them entirely.

It just takes a little time, it isn't that hard. Just cut off the block, peel back the black tape a bit so you have enough wire to work with. Strip the wires back almost an inch, wind them together and soder. Put some heat shrink over them. The Apex has more of them with the fuel injection. A common spot on the apex is the left side of the fuel rail there are some four wire blocks with wire color black/blue.

Thanks for your help. Where would I find pics of these or a wiring diagram? How many blocks should I be looking for?

New to Yamaha, though been a sledder for a long time. Do my own maintenance. Acquired a ‘07 Apex GT recently and having a wee bit of trouble. Hopefully some members can chime in with some guidance.
Background is, I bought the sled last year and given the late session purchase plus absence of snow did not burn a half a tank. All was good. Parked the sled for the summer and when I went to put it into service this year, right off the bat, had an issue. Mice come to find out had chewed through the fuel pump wires. Fixed that, started the engine and it would bearely run. Code showed...

Thank you, and I very much appreciate your time. Should I do this to all of the grounding blocks?

The blocks with black wires are the ground blocks.Thank you, and I very much appreciate your time. Should I do this to all of the grounding blocks?
There are other blocks in the harness with other colors of wires.
You could inspect them and any that are dirty or show corrosion could be fixed.
If they're clean you may choose to leave them.
