oil tank plug question

Changed the oil in my 08 Vector LTX GT a week ago. Today I noticed a small copper washer in one of my oil drain pans. Is there supposed to be a copper washer on the oil tank plug of an 08 vector?.

Yes there should be one on there.

There is a copper washer on the drain plug scew you take out to drain the oil under the engine.
