Wondering if anyone has seen this…..I just pulled out my plugs to have a look and this is what I found….I also realized that I could not easily push the coils down onto the plugs they must be threaded down….All 4 plugs look like this??? Also my pluge are quite black....do you think it is running to rich...or will it even matter???

Have you changed the jets? If yes, to what? What altitude are you running at? Hard to read the plug since its dry, but it looks like it may be rich.... this motor LIKES to run rich (more power).

As for the grooves at the top, don't worry about it, it won't hurt anything. If the boots don't go over easily without threading on, push harder!

That is from the spring retainer in the plug cap.

If that plug was just out of the motor after pulling it into the shop the color does not surprise me. If you had made a full throttle pass & the plug looked that way it would be too rich.

I have not changed the jets....And has been running fine....Untill...I just trailered it for 400 Km and when I unloaded it it did alot of burbeling and backfired a couple times...Thats actually why i pulled the plugs to see if I could spot something there...any idea why it would run like crap after the trailer ride??? Thanks
