Was out today, and came around a turn and missed that there was a stop sign (was mostly buried in snow), slammed on brakes and of course trail happened to have a slight sideways slope. Sled slid sideways and tipped over on it's side. I was doing less than 10 MPH, but was a perfect mix of sliding, slope to trail, and hit a small snow bank. Anyways, my question, I did some damage to the plastic under the windshield, any idea how much to replace this? How difficult? It looks like the plastic also holds the gauge cluster?

I could figure out to get image to appear, so here is link

I didn't really inspect it too much, is there anything else I shoudl be looking for structural wise? I basically just put the machine trackside down, picked up pieces and threw them in tank bag, and started riding again. I was literally stopped for less than 5 minutes, and 4 minutes of that was trying to roll the damn thing back over.

Riding along trail, and came to stop sign that I couldnt' see, I was already slowing down, but didn't realize that there was a stop sign. I had already blown through this stop sign 3 times that day. The sign was buried by a snow plow, you could just make out the top of the sign. Well, they plowed the street halfway into the trail, which made the trail slope to the left. I knew the stop sign was coming, and was only going about 6-10 mph, again saw the stop sign late and hit brakes, sled slid a little to left, and front right ski hit the small mound from the plow, add that to the tippiness our sleds have sometimes....was going so slow that I was able to step off sled and stand beside it watching it roll at my feet, literally came to a stop 2 feet from the start of the roll. :o|

Basically I stood there saying are you kidding me?? How could I not stop it from rolling? it was crazy.

LOL sorry man thats the same thing that happend to me came to a Stop sign on a little hill #*$&@ 5" lol and i was going to go down and all a sudden the sled started to roll and i just walked off it and watched it roll over slowly lol.

Then i was playing in the drifts and was coming down and i could not control it the sled just rolled over :(

Glad your ok

LOL it's frustrating. These damn things are heavy as hell to push back on the track. I tried to do it myself and I could only get it halfway, needed my friend to come over and give me a quick shove. I will say that at least I don't feel like such an idiot since it has happened to some of you good folks.

gauge pod

Did it twice here. Once that 600lbs starts to tip.....there's no stopping it lol.

roll

Don't feel bad,I rolled my rx shorty over while reversing out the driveway on level surface lol

Did the same thing. Slow speed roll wrecking the left hand mirror, windshield and plastic dash behind speedo. Not much you can do when it starts to go over. Did it last year as well.

bwahaha, I almost did the same thing, I put it in reverse and was standing up. Unfortunately, when I hit throttle, it caused me to lean into the throttle thumb!! I can't believe I am admitting all these mistakes to you guys!!
