hey guys, my 2015 Viper just arrived at dealer today, not home yet, but i was curious has the temperature of the hand grips? are they hot like to old Cats, or cold like my Nytro and Apex? I have found my hands get colder easier at my age so cold hands has become a bit of a problem for me.

Hot!
2014 mine are so hot I ride with mechanic gloves and cannot use high they burn you. The thumb warmer did not work from new and the left and right grips failed at the end of the season. Dealer replaced the whole system and yesterday the thumb warmer actually worked.

Happy to hear the grips are hot! I haven't had truly "hot" grips since my SRX..

My Cat last year had one fail. The girlfriends Viper work great, my Viper not so much. I really like having hand warmers again but I am afraid these do not seem to durable.

Grips are warm. Left one failed before season was over [dealer replaced].
Thumb warmer is very weak and combined with the fact that the artic cat bend of the flipper puts it way out away from the bar; it is unnoticeable on cold days and fast trails.
Anyone know of a flipper upgrade or aftermarket heater element upgrade?
