Has anybody installed hand guards (yamaha or Power Madd) on a Apex ER or Attack with stock windshield? Have GT & am thinking of going to higher windshield. Assume would still need more hand protection. Hand warmers suck! :ORC

I have the Yamaha hand guards installed on my Attak. Yes, they help deflect wind away from your hands.
The other thing I found this season is that Scott (which bought Reima) came out with a new set of clothes where the inner lining wicks away the moisture. Great gloves and my hands have not got cold once this season. In fact, I have turned down the hand warmers on several occasions.
