I just bought some plastic hooks to try on the Apex.
I removed the stock metal hooks. There is only about 1/2 inch of length inside there, not enough to put the new hooks into. Does the "inside"
piece in the handlebar come out of there?
Thanks

Check with Pioneer Performance in NY, they have aluminum handlebar ends, he'll know if they come out or stay. Mark.

Stock bars have an insert. Reason is I heard Chase and his bro in law drilled them out to put in cartrige type heaters. Then they made inserts to get them back to where they would take the alum hooks again.

don't waste your time the plastic hooks do not solve the problem. ran 730 miles this weekend and were as cold as normal.
