After the my first winter with my beast Warrior 2005 144", I decided to go with a 2" riser and with my research I could use the stock cables.
But at my surprised my beast already had a 2" riser :o| , I will then add another 2" powermad riser for a total of 4".
My cables won't be long enough, can someone help me to know which cables I need to change and which ones do I did to buy ?

Thanks to all.

Be creative with your routing and you'll be able to use the stock hardware. My 06 Attak and my 11 Apex XTX are both + 5" with stock cables and wiring. 7,000 mi. on the Attak and 4,000 mi. on the Apex with zero issues.

I put a 2 inch riser on my 03 a couple years ago and went to a 4 inch this year. I had to get 05 rx1 mountain throttle cable, choke cable, brake hose and park brake cable. There was no way the stock cables would fit. Trust me I tried.

X2 on the mountain cables. I had to put them on my old war when I put on the 3.5 rox riser before the 4" powermadd went on. Cables are long enough for more, I would have had to lengthen the hand warmers wiring as it was getting snug at 4".

I added a total of 6" to my 03 RX1 2" powermadd pivot riser and 4" riser block. Had to get the 05 Mountain cables (brake hose, throttle, parking brake, and choke). After I took the stock ones out I compared the lengths on each and found that the choke cables were the exact same length so don't think you need that one. The rest are slightly longer and still required rerouting for the parking brake cable to make it work with the 6" rise. At 4" I would say you still need the longer cables. Rerouting might work but it would be super tight and likely to cause problems by engaging the cables if your skis are turned all the way left or right. Minus the choke cable, it runs about $90 for all of them. Here is the nomenclature for all 4 of the 05 Mountain cables:

8FW-26311-00-00 Throttle cable

8FW-26330-00-00 Choke cable

8FW-25872-00-00 Brake line

8FK-26351-00-00 Parking Brake Cable

BTW, while you're at it, upgrade to the apex or nytro seat. I did that as well and man, what a complete difference! I hated this sled before. Seated too low and bent over too far when standing. Now it rides like a dream. I can ride much longer and more aggressively. Below is a pic of the final product.

Good luck!

Thanks to all, Here what i've done for the 4" riser.

-Stock choke cable but change routing remove from the cable guide on the bottom of the steering in past it to the left of the guide.

-Parking cable, simply removed it, never use it anyway.

-Stock brake line, routing under the coolant reserve

-Throttle cable need new one the stock is too short.
Thanks to jrap1111 for the part number.

I will put some photos soon when it will be done.

Wow hard to believe the stock choke cable worked. There was no way in the world mine would have worked. Looks like you are luckier than me. Lol

Looks good. I found that when I raised mine up that high, there was too much of an inward angle on the bars and my wrists were at an uncomfortable angle. I just straightend (bent) the bars a bit forward and now they are much more comfortable.

Looks nice!
Stomper; I did the same thing.. Those bent inward bars hurt my wrist even when they were positioned low!

I did not ride it yet, I'll have to make the correct adjustment next season, the winter is now over :(
But i'm now working on my bike, the red/black one behind my sled on the second photo ;) that is the next season with my other hobby is now starting BBRRAAAPPPPP!!!!

Hey mlsx, I see that you have the seat jack brackets on your sled, do you have a seat jack? Do you want a seat jack? I have brackets on my rx1 and also a set on my wifes attack. I built this rack for extended multi day trips. I use bicycle panniers on the sides an that leaves the rack open for other stuff. It works great and can be removed in about 15 seconds.

Stomper that is a cool rack rack. I have a seat jack for my Warrior and that would be cool when I ride solo. I was thinking that it wouldn't take much to make a rack to go on the Seat Jack. Is there a bag that will fit in the little area of open tunnel behind the seat or would it be too hot from the exhaust. There must be about ten inches of free space behind the seat.

Yes I have the seat jack, WOW your idea is really nice and good, I may pick your idea for my next season :-o
