I have now ordered 4" black riser to my xtx ,cant almost wait to get it innstaled.Superman said:The Stock riser on a Nytro RTX and RTX SE is roughly 2 5/8" center to center. The tallest riser I've ever tried on my RTX is a 4 1/2" but I'm pretty confident the 5" would work with no problem. Any longer I think would require addressing the cables.
Nytro XTX handlebars stock sit on a 3/4" tall base plate mounted to the steering column plate. I sold alot of 2 1/2" risers for the XTX last year and had no problems other than once in a while the throttle cable might have to be slightly re-routed.
As far as adding the OFT steering post relocater.? I don't think just adding the OFT locater alone will affect the cable length much, if at all, because its just changing the arc of the steering column. But the OFT does naturally raise the bars.... My guess is maybe 1 to 1 1/2". (the guys from OFT could answer this question more accurately, infact the info might all ready be on TY if you do a search?) So you should keep this in mind when choosing that 'sweet spot' height your looking for.
I am working on a 3" riser right now and maybe even a 2" before the snow flies. This would be for the guys that don't want to go taller but like the look of our riser or want to install a Ram Mount ball.
Love those risers of yours!!

Just call Superman (Chris White who owns Lake Effect) and he'll set you up. great guy too.
Oh, and his risers are like works of art. Best ones on the market IMHO.

The rtx has a t top steering post, so you don't need the pivot adaptor. Any of his 4"-8" risers will fit.

SuperMan, How does your Pivot riser work for the XTX? Does it have the same effect as the OFT re-locator?

I put a pivot adapter on my 02 zx ski-doo and it was similar to the oft relocate. I was then able to move the bars forward and up, and not just up and back towards me.
Even if you get the oft relo you will still probably want to get supermans pivot adapter so you can adjust the angle of your bars and actually put them where you want them. After I put the relocate on I thought they were just a little too far forward, but when I rotated them back they were too low, so I bought a 2" taller riser and was able to find the perfect spot.
Its so stupid that yamaha puts a flat top post on the xtx, every sled should have a T post IMO.
Best part of the relocate in my opinion was how sharp it turns. And you get rid of the plastic bushings.

No and Yes, The OFT changes the angle of the steering column to a closer or more traditional position and in the process raises the bars. My riser will raise the bars in several positions but does not change the steering column angle.

There is a lot of information on what and how the steering post relocator works in the following thread:
http://www.ty4stroke.com/viewtopic.php? ... hlight=oft
With the relocator, the steering post where the handlebars mount, moves upward and forward. The net result at the handlebars ( grips ) on a short track Nytro ( non-MTX ) is approx. 3-3/16" upward/forward. Because it is moving at an angle ( think triangle ), the forward portion of that movement is 2-1/4" and the upward portion is 2". Basically, it's like putting a 2" riser on with the added benefits that are discussed in the thread in the above link.
Hope this helps.

I second the motion that Superman is a Great Guy to work with. What ever he says you can take to the bank! I put one of his risers on my Nytro w/ Boost last season and really love it. Also make a great way to put on the Ram mount and mount the GPS on the handle bars for great access to it.
