in packy sno i have alot of ski pressure that makes it hard to turn, do i shorten limiter as i think its all the way out now, i took off coupling blocks but sled would roll in corners weird and it felt like the roll started in the back kinda like the sled was twisting? PUT THOSE BACK ON,follows other skis and when you get off the throttle the back fishtails pretty good. if i steer with the throttle thats great up until you need slow forward momentum feels like ill twist the bars right off it. thanks guys we got another 6 inches so hopefully shell regain some composure

6"woodies doolys eliminated the heavy steering, darting and fishtailing, totally transformed the handling for me. I also think that too much front track spring pressure causes the off throttle instability but I'm not positive.
Try turning the rubber snubbers under the spindles.Front to back.
If that doesnt work take the spacers on bolt that holds ski on and put all them to the outside. What this does is makes your ski stance wider than all the others therefore eliminating darting since carbides wont track in others.
I also run 6" Shapers

Consider shimming the bottom rear of the rubbers with 1/4 inch
spacers.
While I never really noticed much handling issues, I can
comfortably, run 65 down a packed trail.

I run this thing wide open down rough ditches and don't really notice any darting or bad handling.

Alignment is key, I know that when I demo'd a few years ago it
was a crusty snow day, and darting was crazy on all the yammi
sleds, but the first one I rode that day was the Phazer.. and I
subsequently rolled it on a flat meadow... talk about
embarrassment, anyway most of the sleds were toe'd in just
slightly causing alot of the darting issues.
At the beginning of this season I was having similar issues
adjusted my alignment(also shimmed the skis) and its been great

Me to!!!! haven't noticed heavy steering except when sitting there not moving.Weapon X said:I run this thing wide open down rough ditches and don't really notice any darting or bad handling.
Even my wife thinks this steers easy. She rides twice as fast as she used to, it's actually fun to have her out riding with the Phazer! That is until she starts complaining of the board for a seat.

i noticed the opposit. i would get real bad ski push into all the corners if it was anything but hard pack with a crust on top. i got some lot more agressive skis and thoes are a work out to steer but im not afraid to go into the corners on the gas anymore.

my front end is shot thats what makes the hard steering.
