Anyone had problems with there sled having a problem to start after putting mcx 290hp kit in it?
I have the symptoms that it wouldnt wanna start when it got out in the cold.. worked fine in the garage.
Changed plugs and it fired up. but then it was the same.. needed full gas to start.. then in worked a few time then it was back.. full gas to get it to start.
Then it made 8runs where it started right up. but yet again now it needed about 5-6sec to start.. and it was like the startermotor reved the engine to where it feeled like taking over.
Im having the ide its the fuel but cant test my theory when it works sometimes. I allways se the fuel flow through the external filter and it has 99oct+anti freeze, have made non adjustment to the idle, carburator or anything concerning fuel.

One thread wasn't enough?
.
Try connect an battery charger, let it charge a minute, then turn the key, post your result.

What do you have to loose, give it a try, you might be surprised
.
The injectors need right voltage, more then the starter need's before it sounds tired.

Waiting, have you tried with an battery charger connected?
I am a little surprised you haven't tried such a simple thing,
know several having this problem during cold weather, including myself, and as soon i connect an charger it starts like a champ, cables from another battery also works.
I'm not saying it have to be your problem, but the symptom is exact the same, worth a try atleast.

Same as mine do sometimes, when it's cold the battery loose power and engine is harder to turn, it's still sounds ok when running starter but it won't ignite, but immidiatly when i connect the charger and crank the starter it start running, go figure,
i have only myself to blame cause i installed a smaller battery, but i can live with it, during season it's no problem, it's now when i don't drive as often it's problem sometimes.
